The Faculty of Political Science, at the University of Torino, offers graduate degrees in five areas of study:

The Department of Political Studies includes academics from many different fields: Political Science, Political Theory, European and International Politics, History of Western and Non-Western Countries, etc.
Within the Department, a group has been formed by academics involved in women's studies, which is concerned with the theme of 'Democracy in a Gender Perspective'. This group organizes seminars and conferences and it has just inaugurated a new series of books on this theme. This group is part of 'C.I.R.S.D.e.' (Women's Research and Studies Centre), a centre founded in 1991 at Turin University, which includes women's studies scholars from nine different departments. The Centre is a reference structure intended to create opportunities for communication, cultural exchange and cooperation among professors, lecturers and scholars who consider the gender perspective one of the leading guidelines for their scientific and educational work.
